Pubeasy Release 3.20 (October 12, 2026)

This release is planned for Monday, October 12, 2026 and will include a short 1-hour downtime from 2-3am Eastern, 7-8am BST, and 8-9am CEST. Release 3.20 brings usability improvements for Pubeasy retailers, smoother supplier workflows, and more reliable EDI processing.

• Easier sign-in: Password fields now include a show/hide option, making it easier to check entered passwords before logging in or resetting a password. Failed logins now provide more helpful error messages.
• Safer logout: A confirmation dialog now appears before logging out, helping prevent accidental sign-outs.
• More reliable promo-code entry: For Simon & Schuster US and Canada orders, Pubeasy will now check promo codes against the supplier’s required format before submission, preventing rejected orders due to browsers accidentally filling random information into the field. This check does not guarantee that your promo code is valid, just that it passes first muster.
• Registration improvements: Registration links now remain valid for up to 48 hours. If the registration service is unavailable, users are shown a maintenance page instead of an unusable or blank screen.
• Shopping Cart improvements: Long purchase-order numbers can be edited more easily, and field warnings now appear in the correct position. We have also reconfigured the way we present additional optional settings.
• Faster order submission: Carts with many order lines should now process faster.
• Advanced search: Missing product format names are now visible again.
• More reliable date entry: Existing dates are no longer cleared when a calendar is opened and closed without selecting a new date.
• Improved ordering workflow: Products that are not available for ordering can no longer be added to the shopping cart.
• More stable support links: Links to product-support information now use stable redirect addresses, helping prevent broken links when support pages are reorganized.

Cleaner printouts: Suppliers using our online order manager to print invoices and other documents will no longer see our help icons on their printed invoices and other documents.

EDIFACT:

• Improved supplier identification in EDIFACT orders: Outgoing EDIFACT orders now include the supplier’s GLN in the dedicated supplier party segment.
• Correct shipping dates in X12-to-EDIFACT conversions: Despatch dates and message dates are now mapped to the correct EDIFACT fields, ensuring that converted despatch advices contain complete and accurate date information.
• More accurate acknowledgement quantities: EDIFACT acknowledgements now represent backordered and cancelled quantities more accurately, including partial backorders and cancellations.

TRADACOMS:

• Correct zero-rate invoices: TRADACOMS invoices with zero-rated shipping costs now include the required zero tax-rate value.
• Purchase-order references preserved: Purchase-order references from TRADACOMS acknowledgements are now retained when messages are converted into EDIFACT order responses.
