Create an Advanced Shipping Notification/Delivery Note

There are different ways to use Pubeasy as a Publisher. If you use the Order Manager on Pubeasy, you can view your orders and create Acknowledgements (POA), Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASN), as well as Invoices.

To create an ASN you first have to acknowledge the order. As a UK Publisher, you can choose whether you want to create the ASN automatically while creating your Invoice, which means you don´t have to create the ASN separately. In that case, you can go directly to the Invoice Screen and choose the option "Invoice & ASN" instead of "Invoice". If you don´t see this option, it may be that the retailer does not have a SAN attached to its mailbox.

Your order responses will be automatically sent in the right EDI format to your supplier.

Please follow these steps:

1.) Click on "My Orders" at Header Navigation and there click on "Order Manager" and Inbox.

2.) Now run a search to find the order which you want to ship / for which you want to create an ASN.

3.) Now look at the right end of the desired order - click on the "S" (for Shipping Notification).

4.) You will find a prefilled screen based on the POA created earlier.

5.) Please fill in the blank fields - some are optional - some are mandatory. Please make sure all relevant information is correct.

6.) You can finalize your ASN by clicking Send - once done you can choose different options if you wish (Printing Shipping Documents, Download Data, View Data (=View EDI file)
